Hi All! Long time no see! Well I've got the itch to come back and am/have made a new account. Its going to have my fine art but also the stuff to go along with my new venture. I'm selling my own digi stamps online and need a place to post my sketches and other things. I hope you all don't mind. My new account is SomeOddGirl. that I am making myself. Not sure that I am doing everything right LOL but its not too bad as its alot like a blog. Not sure how I make the date and such soooo tiny. I still need to add in the mood etc stuff at the bottom but its comin along. I just wanted to see how it was lookin.

In the art world, I've been thinkin about changing up my style a bit as hooouuurrs to do a pic isn't feasible with home life. Not with one tiny starting preschool and me on third shifts part of the week. Oh my. I want to do something fun so while I'll still do my old stuff I want to delve into other things. I'm going to look like a total newb! LOL! I hope you all don't laugh at me!!! I'm still on the look out for a good scanner. One that doesn't break the bank but does a good job. I'll take any recommendations!

Ok I am totally jumping around LOL I'm gonna work more on my skin later. I gotta get ready for work (suckysucky work) soon. 6pm-2am. woohoo..... not really. Have fun!

I'd like to think I'm attempting to get back on the horse BUT I don't know. Admist my other creative endevors sitting and actually drawing has fallen by the wayside. I had almost forgotten completely amongst the chaos that seems to reign here until I got an email from a friend here on DA (you know who you are ) that reminded me about pics I hadn't finished. He reminded me why I love to draw.

So, I did 2 new pieces last night while watching Battlestar Galactica, no, not the finale, I'm way behind! And these came fast an easy. Since I also broke my foot, I figure that this is a great time to spend on my butt LOL.

Have you ever had the realization that you've taken on more than you can juggle readily? Yep. I did that. I like keeping busy but it doesn't seem like I can give anything a proper chunk of time.

Hence my lack of new art.

I have like 5 new sketches but nothing finished. I find it hard to go back to a piece after I've had to leave it for a few days. That and my printer needs ink AGAIN! Stupid Epson. Bah.  

I'm HOPING to carve out a chunk to draw tomorrow. Today is playdate day so it won't happen today

BUT....

on the upside I finally picked out my new ring and earrings!!! I CAN NOT WAIT to see them in my mail box! AHHHHH! SOOO excited!!!

so last night I totally got hit in the nose. The bridge of my nose. Right where my glasses rest and where when they slide down I have to poke to push them back up. Its totally indignant (yet totally funny) how I got hit there in the first place but if I'm gonna get hit

I have a headache in my FACE.

Its making me a bit grumpy.

I'm getting a migraine.
